FAQ
01Where are you located?
36A Cowper Street M24 2FE
Please use the Contact page for the latest location information and directions.
02Where can I park?
There is free on street parking outside the salon.
03Do you accept all breeds for grooming?
Yes
04Do you empty anal glands?
No, this is now classified as an internal procedure and must be carried out by a vet.
05My dog has fleas, can I still book?
No. Please treat the infestation first and book your dog in for grooming after it has cleared, this is to prevent the spread of fleas to other dogs and to protect our equipment.
06Can I stay with my dog during the groom?
No. Owners are not permitted to stay as this distracts the dog, making grooming more difficult and you are not insured to be in our workspace.
07Can I book a block of appointments?
Yes, in fact this is encouraged to ensure your dog doesn’t become uncomfortable between grooms.
08Are you a lone 1-1 groomer?
I work one to one with one dog at a time, there are other groomers in my salon who are table renters who have their own clients and work independently. Your dog will not be the only dog in the salon but they will be focused on one at a time and not allowed to meet or interact with other dogs. When the groom is finished you can collect them straight away.
09Do you groom cats?
I do not groom cats personally but I do have a table renter who does, this is when the salon is empty and not when dogs are around or visiting, please ask for more details and I will provide her contact information.
10Do you do handstripping?
I do not offer handstripping however two of my table renters do, please let me know if your dog requires a handstrip and I will put you in touch with one of them to arrange an appointment.
