I take a lot of pride in offering the best quality service I can. Before each full groom I will consult with you about your desired result and how this can be achieved. All grooms are carried out after a health and safety form is signed.
What is involved in a full dog groom?
A full dog groom typically involves washing, blow drying, styling and a nail trim, this is not a one size fits all process and will vary from dog to dog, breed to breed.
Please note that all dogs with fur need daily brushing. I would say to anybody wanting a specific style for their dog that maintenance work must be done daily between grooms in order to achieve your desired result. If your desired haircut is not achievable on this occasion due to the condition of your dog’s coat, I will work with you and advise the best possible way to achieve this in the future.
We have a saying in the grooming world – “humanity before vanity”, this means that I will only groom with your dog’s best interests in mind and if a dog is presented to me with a matted coat, these cannot be brushed out as I will not cause pain or discomfort to your dog, these will be removed with the clippers to allow the fur to regrow.
